Confirmed with Melbourne Marriott today that lounge is staffed at the weekend, no difference on days expect breakfast starting and finishing later on the weekend. Also lounge has a computer with internet access.

Should we consider stating if lounges have free alcohol?

Based on your & another FTer's report, sounds like Asia Courtyards are more full-service than CYs elsewhere.

What, and put a target on their back so that HQ can tell them to stop? We know US, Canada & UK don't offer free booze. My guess is that the properties that do intl'y are scattered in Europe & Asia.

Cheers.

Yes, definitely full service, though I will say that the staff in the executive lounge in HKG are not fully trained.

Sorry to hear of their change in policy. Updated the thread.

Again, fellow FTers. This thread is only as good as your input. Check it - are the properties listed correct? Are there some you've stayed at that are outdated? If so, post a correction. Are there some properties missing? Add them!

Cheers.

JW Marriott, The Rousseau Muskoka Resort and Spa, Minett, ON, Canada

This new resort has opened in Canada (I have not stayed there). By definition (from the name), the resort would not have a lounge. However, I do not know if Platinum and Gold members get some consideration during weekends.
