I'm looking for a deal for the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas for July 20-22. the cheapest room available. so far the only cheapest one i can find are all the same at 250 and 360 a night for a total of $610. So if anyone can help me ...i'd appreciate it
Check your PM. Found a lower price for the second night which should save you about $150.
It looks like most of the rooms are still booked. The only one available at the Marriott website is for a Delxue room which I can't find a deal for. I only saw standard rooms on the other sites. Does the L.A. Live hotel only have Deluxe Rooms and Suites? If so, my guess is the "standard" rooms listed in the other sites are Deluxe. Mention this in the LNF since I see no standard guest rooms for this hotel. They should honor it if that's the case. If that's so, you will actually be saving a ton here as I found one for about 40% lower. Check your PM for details.

Doing a test booking many months out (Jan 10), I see they have at least these types of rooms (since these three types are available that night):
349.95 (USD) per night Rate rules
Guest room, 1 King or 2 Double, City view Room details
439.95 (USD) per night Rate rules
King Balcony Rm,, Guest room, 1 King or 2 Double, Balcony Room details
469.95 (USD) per night Rate rules
Premiere Guest Rm, Larger Guest room, 1 King Room details
Speaking of descriptions like that, how do you / can you make an LNF work when the Marriott site says the room can be either 1 or 2 beds, but the comparison site is specific as to bed type? (I've run into this "1 king or 2 double" description before at other hotels where I was considering an LNF.)
Some comparison sites "buy up" room inventory ahead of time, and thus will show room types that are no longer available on mariott.com. So just because only one room type is still left at marriott.com and only one room type shows on the comparioson site, it does not automatically mean that they are the same room.
Of course, when the comparison site always has completely messed up room descriptions (none of them matching what the hotel actually has!), then what do you do (LNF-wise)? (One LNF site I've used for one hotel, for that hotel it has 3 room types, but only one of those room types, luckily the chpeast, the king suite, actually matches any hotel room type description on marriott.com. Marriott.com's next room types at that hotel are 2 queens suite, king deluxe suite, and 2 queens deluxe suite, but the comparison site's other, more expensive, room types are family suite and standard room! )

The Guest Room is probably considered to be the standard room in this case (if we are talking about the same property).
I have not personally met a situation where the room types are "confusing". Usually it's laid out well when I submit a LNF claim. If you are unsure, you can just submit it anyway. There is no negative outcome by doing so since you are really not sure and worse case scenario you get shot down saying the room types are not the same.
In terms of the bed type, that is taking into consideration if the rates are different. I have been to some properties where it makes no difference for a king or 2 queens. The price remains the same.

I only pick the bed type that exists in both Marriott and the comparison site, because the T&C stated very clearly that bed type has to match in order to qualify for a LNF claim. Usually there is more than 1 site that is lower than Marriott, then I picked the one that has the same bed type that Marriott.com offers.

I am trying to find lower rate for JW Marriott Chandigarh for early Oct, however, all the travel websites I checked have the same rates as marriott.com. Any suggestions on the websites where I can potentially find lower rates?

San Juan Resort & Stellaris Casino
Just scored my first LNF at the San Juan Resort. Listed at $179 on Marriott. Found it at $150 on [another site]. My price is now $112.50! I'm loving this especially now that [proprietary code] no longer accrues points/ elite nights.

2. I wonder if you were "legally" using [proprietary code] rates?
