Lucky...I found one of these targeted mailings in the trash of my apartment building. I'd have tried to use it but I just got the 100K card.

Where are you getting 2.5x extra? The >$5000 charges are 1.5x.

I was thinking of using my business platinum to pay my Wells Fargo Mortgage. I want the payment to be over $5000 so I can get the bonus MR, but my mortgage payment is well under $5000/month. I was thinking of paying triple my normal monthly payment in one payment. Does anyone know if I can get wells fargo to cover three months worth of monthly payments if it is all in one big check (for triple the normal amount). I don't mind if I have to call them, but I don't want the check to just reduce the principal and not cover my monthly payments.

Is it permissible to send a mortgage payment that is under the name of someone else (eg., Mr. XYZ)? And does my billing address have to match Mr. XYZ's property address, or does Plastiq not ask for mortgage property addresses?
Thank you.
(I searched but couldn't find an answer on this thread.)

As for the name, perfectly fine. The mortgage to our second house is under my wife's name and I used my AMEX card to make the payment and request the check to be sent in her name to the address where the mortgage is to be mailed and paid.

I can't speak for the address part of your question, but I doubt they care. The only thing Plastiq cares about is the address to where you want the payment to go to.

I've been using Plastiq successfully to pay rent for the last three months in order to meet minimum spend requirements on new cards. I've been very happy with their service to date. Due to complicated financial circumstances that aren't worth noting, I am looking to continue to cover rent payments through Plastiq over the next six to eight months. I would like to figure out the best way to maximize value in doing so. I have a high credit line on my Reserve card, which I will be using out of necessity, but I could always request to reallocate that balance to another Chase product if it would yield a better earn rate. I do have an Ink Plus business card linked to the same account that I'm fairly confident I could easily have my credit line transferred over to; so long as it codes as purchase rather than c.a.. Are there any other considerations (promo codes, backdoors or portals, etc) that would be useful to me? I've been paying roughly $85 in Plastiq fees on approx. $3,400 (and change) in rent each month. Is there a way that I could do better?

I got 3x points on my January Citi AT&T statement for my January mortgage payment to PNC via Plastiq. However, my escrow amount is going up slightly in February, and I have payments scheduled out through 2019 at the 1.75% promo rate. I previously got them to switch the card used for this payment series, but I chatted yesterday and they said no dice for changing the payment amount. Super annoying as I'm sure many/most people's mortgages change every year or so as the taxes, insurance rates etc fluctuate for the escrow portion.
Anyone have luck getting them to make such a change? The chat agent suggested setting up a 2nd payment series for the differential amount (it's like $80/month more), but I'm not sure if PNC would accept two partial payments. Anyone have experience with this?
