I loaded a card just last night with $500, and checking the website when you actually try to load, it still lists the load amounts as "Between $10.00 and $500.00." So the changes are nto effective immediately at least.

This change is still better than the end of the card, so I'm ok with this change. Sure it cuts profits (and probably monthly limits), but it's still an easy way MS to meet sign up bonus requirements.

Looks like it ended up being about a week longer

It's close to dead for being worthwhile for new users now. Hopefully the old terms stick for a while longer

Best Buy?

Has anyone tried to pay their Best Buy credit card with NW Buxx? Not sure why I didn't think of this before. I searched to no avail. Thanks in advance for any data points.

Tried again with different cards and different amounts and still can't load. Will call CS and update.

The end is nigh. At this rate, it's not even worth it applying for a fifth card before the 11th.

Why in the drawer? 1% fee is the same as most $500 gift cards, plus you can do everything from your home. I'll be sticking with it.

Same fee, yes.....from your home, sure....but not efficient anymore
1k of MS used to take 8 days...same 1k now takes about 4 weeks...

That depends on when you're starting to count the time. Under the current system, you could also say it takes 22 days for $1k (from Load #2 to Load #3).

Either way, I'm sticking with it.
