This thread covers posts before 2018 only. The new thread is here.

Check cash back portals to help cover the fees. Around the holidays there is usually free shipping. http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/cashback-store/giftcards.com/

Limit 5k/day (2 orders under 2.5k including the fees). Cards must be activated before use. Orders usually arrive in 5-7 days. Monthly limit is just 5k * days in the month.

Select the free letter on the left instead of paying for a card on the right of the screen.

Visa issued by metabank.

Warning: Orders can be lost or stolen. Call to have them reissued.

I only buy at GC after maxing out GCM. With GCM free shipping, lower card fees and higher cashback portal payouts not only I get a lot of points but I also make some sweet cash profits. On the other hand I lose money with GC, to the tune of $13 per 4000 points.
Having said that, I prefer GC because orders are trackable, fast, secure and they can be delivered to an address other than your billing.

I'm guessing due to gcm monthly limit and the issues with shipping envelopes not being sealed.

A few questions... I bought 2k worth and fees and shipping was 35 dollars...TCB gives me 25 back as I am spending 10...How are you doing 13 for 4k?
6.95*4 plus 7.45 shipping.

I know there is a daily limit but is there a monthly limit?

Any reason to use GC over GCM besides the tracking?

One slight improvement is doing 4x $500 + 1x $465 for 5x $6.95 in fees and 7.45 shipping. I'm sure you can add in the cents to make the pre-shipping total exactly $2500 but I can't be bothered

I thought that GC.com doesn't accept AMEX cards anymore. Have you tried to buy with an AMEX?

I think they don't accept AGC but I recently (early Feb) paid with AMEX SPG without issues.

I have multiple AMEX CCs in my profile and they are all working fine.

Probably can't add new ones.
