New York City MSers Unite! A thread about MSing solutions for NYC's community

Good morning dear MSers,

I am starting this thread due to the difficulty I and fellow MSers are having in NYC.

Even though NYC is a huge city, there seems to be relatively few places that are MS friendly.

The lack of a walmart, CVS and 7-11 going cash only for VR, and the lack of widespread stores that accept debit for MO has really crippled our market.

Our objective is to discuss alternative methods SPECIFIC TO THE NYC MARKET to conduct responsible MSing so all the community can benefit.

This thread is open ended, so drop a question or concern maybe even an idea.

Thanks everyone! Happy MSing

Thank you very much for starting this.
Let's start with where to get MO for cheap price.

Great thread title, but I was expecting to see some ideas to overcome the uniqueness of NYC. Do you have any you can share?

Currently, my MS methods have been AP, Serve online loads, TD Go, AFT, PP My Cash from DR or WG, GC from Staples and grocery store (just told me no more credit), and a few OV from CVS.

Unloading has been mostly through Serve bill pay, Evolve, or Citi DC phone payments. I've done a bill pay at pay-o-matic but the total fee was $3.95 so not worth it. I haven't bought MO yet or successfully done KMart bill pay.

Eh, MS in NYC is no different from anywhere else. Lots of opportunities if you do a little work. I don't know what this "difficulty" is of which you speak. Of course, any posted in this thread will be dead shortly thereafter, so it would seem silly to spell stuff out here.

I live upstate but work in Manhattan.. You could try Rite Aid for MO. MY RA in Putnam co allows 500.00 Mo with OV for .89.. never tried it in NYC. Also You can buy PP myCash in DR with CC?

Some of the fee free ATMs are already live I believe. There should be on in the Barclay Center, apparently it's accessible without a ticket but I've got no idea where it actually is. Haven't been to NYC for awhile.
