Reserved $1000 worth of GLOB, received ~$530. I'm glad it priced below the expected range. Now let's see what it does today.

To provide a data point, I reserved $6K and received ~$2915. Actually my wife had another $6K reserved, but after the lower pricing and yesterday's tragedy, I thought I would limit our exposure - although I believe in GLOB much more than GPRO long term (though I will probably sell next week and get back in at a later date).

Also will confirm that if you sign up for an IPO and do not confirm, they do just put the money as cash into your account which you can transfer out - they do not reverse the credit charge - not that they ever gave any indication that they would do that.

Thanks for the info on that. Sounds like the best strategy going forward is to jump on those IPO emails ASAP and to request more than you actually want. Up ~13% at the moment. If it's 15% or higher before 2pm then I'll sell today, else I'll hold until next week.

Why would you want to buy a VGC and incur fees to liquidate here? Just use CC here and avoid the fee.

If you are getting 5% back on a $500 card, the fee is not a big deal.

1 reason is to get the higher cashback for category spend and also to avoid 10 $50 charges on a CC casuing fraud alerts.

Good points..... I haven't personally used VGC on this... but have done 10-15 trans a month on a single chase card without issue/ without fraud alert.... not hugely scale-able but still a nice bonus...

If VGC works, that might be interesting since liquidation routes for CVS VGC's are more and more limited... give it a shot and report back?

FWIW I've been doing 50 to 100 transactions per month on my arrival for at least two months.

Or trying to hit spend limits on Amex which Loyal3 does not accept but CVS does for VGC.

I was planning to build a dividend portfolio using loyal3 since it does not have fees. I am interested in DRIP but I heard that Loyal3 has DRIP for only one of the companies. Is anyone here using DRIP for their portfolio?

Noob question here as it is not answered in the wiki.

Is the max purchase per transaction $50 but no max in amount of transactions per month?
