For $7500 you'd be paying $30 (5x load, 3x bank CA) or just $15 (unload via 15x WG ATM).
Or you could just buy Money Orders with your ST debit and avoid all the hassle.

I assume each visit to store = ability to get 1 card?
So is there still loading-charge per load?
Does free card offer make MS scheming any more "logical"???
MS newbie asking!!!
they won't let you use credit to buy, i guess you could load with visa gift card debit and save 0.69 cents but it's probably not worth the effort.

I have an old amex bc and I'm looking for ds ms opportunities. So if I buy a vgc from a ds for 504.95, load it at wg for 2.95 I'd get 25.40 in cb. Even if bp costs .95, that's 8.85 in fees or 16.55 profit per card. I can do this 3x per day (assuming I can't split the 1500 load 3 ways and pay 2.95 just once) for a max of $49.65 per day profit. This doesn't count wg br points/random promotions that may come up. Am I missing anything? Are there other limits or concerns? Anyone else doing this?

WG has a low tolerance for this. They will shut you down and you get to fight to get your $ back.

Too bad Wells-Fargo's billpay service no longer allows you to pay bills with credit card. They did until a few months ago.

This way you could pay off the Amex by paying the bill with Wells Fargo billpay (via CC) and then going to Wal-Mart and paying a Visa bill with debit.

Any other billpay services allow you to pay with your credit?

You've repeated this a lot in this thread. Certainly helpful of you to let everyone know how you can easily be shut down.

I have this card, they haven't shut me down though.

Use it primarily for billpay and they get uptight. They told me flat out that that wasn't the intended use of the card. On the 1st card, I was simply shut down. On the 2nd card (wife's SSN), they reopened it after she promised to not BP any more and that lasted about a week before they killed it again for good.

The guy who had 2 cards shut down probably isn't the best person to ask

Actually Im looking for everyone's input who have been using this card for MS (bill pay, money orders, taxes etc) and who have used it and been shutdown

Ultimately based on the inputs i will make my own call on how to proceed
since i would be taking on the risk
