seems like you'll have to buy them in smaller than 200 denominations (they dont have 200s at my store) only 25/50 or 75 packs so activation is more than usual 200 cards at OD/staples.

$200s are available at both of my local OMs. I've never had a problem loading them to BB. Moneymaking manufactured spend - the best kind! ^

I don't utilize OPEN very often, can it be used in store? This post says otherwise?

"Keep in mind that OfficeMax OPEN Savings apply only to online orders."

Is it best to use an Chase INK card.

Good suggestion! I did a side-by-side comparison of Chase Ink Bold/Plus vs. Amex Biz card to see what would be more lucrative. I found that the valuation is very close, if you value UR/MR points the same. I assumed $10 savings are applied to the total purchase amount.

For Amex Biz Open:
Purchase Price: $400 (2 $200 cards, one transaction to get over $250)
Activation: $13.90
Savings: $10 (one $10 discount per transaction)
OPEN Savings: $40 (10% of total)
TOTAL: $363.90
Money earned: $36.10
Amex MR earned: 404
Points valued: $7.27
Total value earned: $43.37
Return: 10.84%

Chase Ink:
Purchase Price: $400 (2 $200 cards, two transactions)
Activation: $13.90
Savings: $20 (two $10 discounts)
TOTAL: $393.90
Money earned: $6.10
Chase UR earned: 1970
Points valued: $35,46
Total value earned: $41.56
Return: 10.39%

Hope this helps someone....

We get clarification on how the $10 is paid out? Is it instant savings or something else?

They're going to do this again? Really?

I'd be prepared for them to rescind the deal after the first wave hits. Maybe I could make some extra cash starting a betting pool instead!

It appears from the ad online that it's $10 off the purchase price (instant savings) - not rebates or rewards. ^ That's how OM has done it in the past as well.
