I'm normally more of a lurker but I made an account to reply to this... I'm in middle TN and purchased 5k worth of cards at Kroger yesterday afternoon. I received 5k fuel points. This appears to be store/region specific.

Someone from another board was mentioning to me that Kroger Prepaid cards earn FP. I haven't looked into it at all but does anyone care to offer any insight as to if this might be a worth while work around? I looked at Kroger prepaid cards sometime ago but the stories of shutdown for loading the card with insignificant amounts of money (~1k) made me focus my attention elsewhere.

Kroger charges $3 for a cash load and you can't load by DD unless its from payroll. There is also no billpay function. That pretty much ruins any gains to be made.

The 4x promo in Atlanta ended on 11th. Post back if Atlanta folks have any luck. I'll be out of town until next weekend.

Is this the same location that you didn't earn points at last week?

??

I used 1000 points this weekend to fill wife's car and my truck up to the 35 gal limit. so $35 in gas savings and 2000 Amex MR points for $11.90.
works darn good for me.
