Do NOT let Rite-Aid scan the GoBank barcode. You will be charged, but your funds won't load. It is a PIA to get your funds back.
Want to stay active? Be sure to only load when your balance is at or close to 0. Continuing to load when you have funds in there seems to be a no no. Swipes are recommended, but there are folks active that don't swipe.
Lots of $200 loads can get you shutdown. GoBank does not like paying load fees on low denomination loads. Two $500 loads is better than five $200 loads.

drdrew450 (closed) 17K in loads, unloaded all through bill pay, less than a month
cuebert (closed) $4.5k in 9 MP loads, BP out. That was fast.

americanindian (closed)- closed after 3 months today. had about 7.5k deposit each month, with lots of small value(<$20) purchases each month. liquidated mostly using bill pay.
rodsren (closed)- the dapperdon warned me. I was closed today after less than 5,500 or loaaing in less than 3 weeks (was going to try to keep it to 7,500 - 10,000 but didn't luck out.)
binnycode (closed, re-opened) - 7x $200 loads + 1x $700 load + 3x $500 over 2 days got me shut down. Called CSR and they re-opened my account, letting me know that "direct deposit would reduce my number of trips to walmart" lol!

how long does it take from registering the temp card to receiving permanent card in the mail? Also can you load the temp gobank card?

I fully switched from Bluebird to Redcard therefore, this gobank card is my only card left for walmart loading. My question is , has gobank gotten more stable in terms of shut downs? What are the load limits Nowadays?

I asked this via email and a representative called me to confirm that ACH transfer will work as DD. I asked her to send that confirmation to me via email so I have proof. I have transferred $500 from AP and will now see if the $8.95 fee will be waived. I will fwd the email they sent me if it turns out a bait.

nope all gone , i believe the 8.95 can also be waived with your debit load.

Also, up thread some stated maybe ACH would work, but was that successful?
I will try both, and report back, but will find out until January.

well , all i did was debit load from wally, and don't see the 8.95 charge on statement, so I am guessing either got waived or has yet applied from their system.

I opened a GO Card from walmart in December, loaded multiple $200 & $500 GC. Was issued a fee in January. Emailed them and told them my direct deposit setup did not make it in time, maybe waive fee...sweet and quick response, NO! (dealing with greendot so not surprised)
Will try an $500 ACH transaction, but will hit it hard in January and close it in end of February if I get the fee.
Will still keep my grandfathered Go Card that is free. I need it to unload my $200 GC

Anyone had an issue where GO Bank constantly sends you replacement cards? I seriously get like 6-10 a week. Some days I get multiple replacement cards on the same day. All cards have the exact same number, exp., and CCV. For instance, these were all in yesterday's mail.

My RA's have pulled all the GDMP's early (before the feb. 1 ending date). Has anyone had success loading at register w/ cc? If so is the procedure for the cashier intuitive for them?
