Any chance you mistakenly chose the "Cash Advance" option instead of Goods/Services?

Give it a few days and check again. Chase payments (on other funding programs) sometimes initially post as CA and then get reversed a few days later.

Data point -- jungled $400 on CSP at 1600 PT. Coded as purchase not as an advance. Hopefully OP's experience is a tech glitch.

I am very mindful to NEVER mark as cash advance, so I am surprised to see this happening as well.

I called to inquire about a mysterious $10 charge on my statement and was told it was because of that charge. I asked if any other charges were showing up as a cash advance and they said "not as of now".

I did not want to push the issue or show my hand considering they offered to refund me the $10 fee "this time only"

I saw a few times about "never call". Not 100% sure why. Because don't want to draw attention?

Did you check in Amazon Payment's "details" and see if that transaction was marked as "Good/Service"?

chase appears to be rolling out some changes to its website these days, which may or may not have some bearing on OP's experience.

but to add another data point, a jungle transaction dated january 9th just posted (i.e. is no longer listed as pending) with the "sale" designation on the bank's website on the 11th.

I completely agree - it warrants a call.

Update please on if it was goods/services or cash? I need to make a payment.

Dont call when you are playing. You played and got burnt. It happens from time to time, from either mistake on your end or change in the game or playing one game too hard. Figure out what youre doing and understand the risk, i.e. having several thousand dollars tied up for three months before you actually do yourself some harm. Everyone has their own skill set and financial limits. However, the call, over a $10 charge will not endear you to others who are playing.

For goodness' sake - do not call anyone. This is almost certainly your own fault anyway (user error). If you feel you can't tolerate this type of thing now and again then you need to find a new hobby.
