what will be served on the morning flights? i.e. mH601 depart at 8am? Im about to take this flight and worried I might not have time to have breakfast before flight.

Could be some small-ish sandwich. Definitely not a full hot breakfast offering.

Nobody at MH catering has bothered to I assume have a look and a taste of the Air Asia Nasi Lemak.

It's still really bad but at least its not going spoil.

I'm constantly amazed by FT members - how a 35 min. flight can generate 2 pages of discussion here!
Really a short flight, and I find that I have to eat really fast (like in 5-7 min) so I'd much rather eat at the lounge instead.
P/S - there is nasi lemak in the lounge during breakfast hours
