$800 credit per night and it rolls over is that the package for prospective owners?

booking 2/3BR?

btw if you book 60 days out, you get 20% off. might see if theyd combine that if your timing is flexible.

We went ahead and booked it, thanks for the responses! I'll post a review on here after the trip which I am looking forward to like crazy.

Total price was $1021 inc t&s per night for the spa pool villa for 3 nights alongside the $2400 total resort credit.

Their lowest advertised deal was $832 inc t&s with no credit.

The confirmation receipt said the package we got was called PROMO: Banyan Tree Mayakoba : Closer Than Ever and the credit's good for room service, restaurants, minibar and spa.

We could probably have gotten a better deal as ABG suggests, but we are happy with this, and i'll let you know how it goes!

Hope this info helps!

if you got it in writing, good luck. because im not sure its accurate.

AFAIK right now, the offer gives you 1 nights worth of credit, not every night booked.

thanks for posting though. i was certainly going to try to take advantage.

Cool

Thanks for the concern, when I read the deal on the website I figured you must be right, but I wrote back and now I have got it in writing...the reservations officer seemed as surprised as I was! It's an enhanced version of the promo, it seems. Pasting the specific details below. Sorry to spam the forum up, just if anyone else wants to try for it it might be worth a go, the reservations officer we got is called Brigitte.

So this is straight from their email (maths method seems crazy but its still a clarification) :

805usd X 27% (12+15)=1,022.35X3 nights=3067.05usd -2415 resort credit = 652.50usd to pay for 3 nights of stay inc taxes+ service charge.

805X3nights=2415usd Resort credit

Conditions of Promo

Apply for new bookings only.

Apply from SPA Pool Villas upwards

Minimum stay of 3 nights required and it is subject to availability.

Promotion cannot be combined with other offer or promotion.

Resort Credit will be calculated based on cost of villa per night (before taxes and service charge).

Resort credit is neither transferable nor refundable, and can be only used during current stay and not for future stays.

Only if you actually end up spending $2415.00 on the resort in 3 days. It can't be used against your room rate.

2BR rate on jan 15 >
$718.20 orbitz (40% less than direct early bird)
$1196 direct early bird (20% off BAR)

i cant believe theyre pulling that crap...

also not understanding how orbitz only charges 22.8% tax and service, while BT charges 27% (4.2% missing)
