Why don't you contact the GM, Liv Gussing, and ask her what the best option would be? She has a young son herself, so I am sure she will have a good solution for you as I know quite a few kids stay at Amandari.

Ugh. My wife and I try to get to Bali every year or two and love the Conrad Hilton. Not quite FS luxury, but they treat us wonderfully and we love relaxing in the Bales.

After reading this thread, however, I may have to spend a few nights in a pool suite at Amanusa. We love Nusa Dua because it is so temperate in May; Ubud was too humid for us.
