NYC FS Penthouse Suite

I got a sneak preview of the Penthouse Suite at the NYC FS. It was amazing. My only surprise was that the bed in the master br was not a king, but a queen. Views were breathtaking, bathrooms sumptous and the zen room relaxed me as soon as I stepped in. I won't be staying there anytime soon, but wanted to let those of you who will you will enjoy your time.

the new $30K/night one? how many bedrooms does it have? each presidential used to have 1.

Quote:
Several blocks south and east, at New York's Four Seasons Hotel, the two Presidential Suites, which were designed by I.M. Pei and go for $15,000 per night each, are about to be displaced by a premium, $30,000-per-night penthouse suite. The suite will have 20-foot ceilings, a dedicated personal assistant and a private spa with his-and-hers massage tables (treatments are extra).

Luxury suites "are certainly more evident today than they were ten years ago," says Brian Honan, the hotel's director of marketing. "The demand is there. In addition, it's a revenue center. A hotel lobby is a showpiece, but is it a business investment? That's the way we look at this penthouse. It's had extraordinary press and generated significant revenues for the hotel." And it won't even open until later this year.

I have been told by FS staff that Ty Warner himself has to "vet" anyone who wishes to stay in the Ty Warner Penthouse at the FS NY.

2 bedrooms - one master, one other which was now set up as a gym (massage table, weights - amazing balcony) but he said was a 2nd br (maybe they convert according to needs); the Pei designed windows were in the master -not sure how much was intact from original Pei design. The carpets had a bit of "sparkle". The vertical, swivel flat screens were something to behold.

I was told (not by Ty) that this is the most expensive suite (I was told the world, but it could be the us)and that the NYC FS is the most profitable hotel in the world.

I looked at the Fortune article - the piano appears to be the same as in the photo, but the furniture has changed. I apologize for not taking photos and posting - I just didn't want to appear tacky!

Another detail I forgot to mention - the bathroom floors are heated. I once looked at buying a house with heated floors in a colder area of the US. In Houston, not that desirable

I always wondered why on earth they dont have heated bathroom floors in a lot of places in the US.

Its so great, especially in the morning.

Aside from that a lot of homes in germany are built with heating coming from/through the floor in all the rooms and not via air conditioning systems like in the US

The Hugh Heffner Sky Villa at The Palms in Las Vegas goes for $40k per night and I believe the King Pin Suite (has a two lane full size bowling lane en-suite) goes for $30k a night.....

i got the impression that those suites at the palms were priced more to keep them empty for casino reservations, like the mansion, except much higher. hugh hefner is $40K. interestingly, some of the prices have gone down from when i last checked, and they seem to have mostly eliminated weekend rates.

Remember how you felt when you first visited New York City? It was love at first sight, and now it’s even better. Atop Four Seasons Hotel New York, the Ty Warner Penthouse intensifies your already deep relationship with the city.

The seven-year, $50-million project is the manifestation of the combined vision of hotel owner Ty Warner and architects Peter Marino and I.M. Pei. Its four glass balconies look out over all of Manhattan, capturing a perspective of the skyline that has never been experienced before. Each detail of the distinctive design aesthetic is meticulously brought to life. The rich caramel wall panels were assembled in Italy, deconstructed and sent to France for a rich lacquer finish by French artisans before arriving in New York. With special touches like these, the penthouse is justifiably priced at $30,000 per night.

Penthouse guests are romanced further with unlimited use of a chauffeured Rolls Royce or Maybach, a 24-hour-a-day personal assistant, a personal trainer and full spa treatments to be enjoyed in the suite’s own spa and fitness room.

€26K? 4BR Riad d'Honneur (Royal Suite) @ Le Royal Mansour

$35K 1BR Ty Warner Penthouse @ Four Seasons New York
