Skiing in Europe (hotels and best skiing) - your views

I have searched the forum endlessly, but haven't found anything that is not a thread that has a reply a few years old. I wanted to create a thread on the forum which has an updated version where we can discuss all the best skiing hotels and resorts around Europe.

I am planning a skiing trip and would love to hear other experiences and choose the best of the best. All replies are welcome including best hotel, best skiing, best ski resort, etc

So, I would love to hear some of your thoughts on the best ski hotels in Europe and mostly for Courchevel, St Moritz, The Dolomites, Switzerland (Gstaad, Zermatt), etc

Anyone who is on skiing at the moment can freely share their experiences!

*This is a thread created only based on the European skiing resorts*

Thank you to all in advance

Cheers
Alex

There was a thread recently covering this topic, but mostly limited to Courchevel.

Favorites are: The Alpina Gstaad, Le Mlzin Courchevel, Les Airelles.
Avoid: The Chedi Andermatt
Looking forward to: FS Megve

This is for people who choose hotels over destinations... although Les Trois Valles has to be one of the best ski areas in the world for me.

Thanks!
What about Le K2 and the L'Apogee and Cheval Blanc Courchevel?

staying at L'Apogee in 2 weeks. Haven't been to K2 but I know its location is not good at all, stayed at Le Kilimandjaro which is the same owner as K2, it was a great hotel, but on Altiport so you have to take a free shuttle to town to do anything. but it's a great hotel which is right on the piste and it is a great area to take a walk.
