Luxury Ryokan in Hokkaido?

We're headed to Japan next May, and after our lovely stay at Gora Kadan last year (trip report), we were hoping to spend at least a night or two in a nice ryokan during our time in Hokkaido.

Does anything of GK's caliber exist up there?

I'd especially appreciate any thoughts on these from those who have stayed:

http://www.hinanoza.com/en/about/ (Lake Akan)
http://www.sanyoan.com/eng/) (Obihiro)
http://www.ginrinsou.com/ (Otaru)
http://www.kuramure.com/en/ (Otaru)
http://www.mizunouta.com/en/ (Lake Shikotsu)

(Insights on "regular" luxury hotels much appreciated, too. Not interested in private rentals or anything on the slopes...we're interested in places well-located to access Hokkaido's best hiking trails/other outdoor activities).

Thanks!

It's brand new. Very modern but very tasteful in my opinion. I'd give it a try.

This I believe is one of the best Ryokans in Hokkaido. Rate ranges from ~70,000-100,000 depending on season.
