Hotel ideas for Costa Brava and Minorca, Spain
Anyone have any recommendations for Spanish hotels on the Costa Brava and the island of Minorca for August 8-12. My wife and I were thinking about 2 days at each venue. We would like to have a nice quiet time and lounge by the beach.

Can't help with Costa Brava, but we stayed at a place called Torralbenc in Menorca. You'll be hard pressed to find better option (and this was the best one when we were there over Easter this year due to it being early in the season). But I guess your biggest issue will be that they are both popular places and in high European vacation season.

Thanks for your advice and the link. You were right. There was not much left to choose from. The Torralbenc was booked. We ended up choosing the Tres Sants in Menorca and the Boutique Hotel Casa Granados in the Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava. We leave on Saturday. Thanks again for your advice.
