5 star hotel in Chicago?
Hi guys, will be in Chicago next week for work. But also looking to have fun when I'm not at work haha. Age is early 20's.
Hotels I've been looking at:
- Trump
- 4 Seasons
- Ritz Carlton
- Park Hyatt
- Peninsula Chicago
- Hotel Palomar
- Waldorf Astoria
- Hard Rock Hotel??
What's a good one with great food (within or nearby), good view, and has a younger crowd?
Price, looking to keep it below $400/night. The 4 Seasons has some rooms for low to mid 300's which looked okay.

Peninsula is the best in the city, but you won't find a younger crowd. If you want a younger crowd, your best bet is probably the Trump.

How is fun defined by which hotel you choose? I'm curious.

Also, Chicago is such a fantastic culinary town - with such breadth and depth - I would NOT focus my attention on hotel restaurants.
That being said, the FSRC, PH, and Pen are all fantastically located for some stunning (in every aspect) restaurants.

Given the links jerry a.laska has provided, and noting that the first link is also recent, I'm now going to close this thread and suggest that future posts go in that first thread.
