5* hotel for group in Rome

Hello everyone,

we are looking for a luxury hotel in Rome (close to Piazza Navona) for a group of around 20 rooms. After Navona Palace (Wow: bad service) or Hotel Raphael I am running out of ideas. Can anyone think of another good option?
Thanks in advance,
baldes

€10K (vs €11590 / €16430 totaled rack)

mentions during winter closure at il pellicano (elsewhere) as well >

EUR 330 (+VAT) per person/day at Il Pellicano for a minimum of 20 participants. [=€6600] This rate includes single use double accommodation, breakfast, light lunch and 1 coffee break
very interesting, i wonder how often properties do this during seasonal closures

La Posta Vecchia is FAR outside Rome. OP asked for hotel close to Piazza Navona. I have only stayed in hotel Raphael in that area, but it is so many years ago that I cannot say anything about how it is now.

indeed interesting, but i guess always possible if the money is right?

unfortunately these hotels are too far outside Rome. I am more looking for hotels within close proximity to Piazza Navona. It's a difficult area to find a hotel for us (historical old town, therefore not a lot of hotels with more than 40 rooms). I am sure there is a flyertalker who knows more

If you can consider being just outside Rome, then try Park Hotel Villa Grazioli, or my favourite, La Posta Vecchia (about 30 mins drive from centre). Depends on whether you are there for leisure or business. If business, then obviously no good.

The Posta Vecchia in Palo Laziale near Rome springs to mind.

This Michelin starred Relais & Chateaux is built on the reminds of a Roman villa and under the reception there are the original mosaics with a museum like Roman art display. Amazing place!

More a 3 star than 5 star, but for what its worth...

My fairly picky mother, who doesnt walk well, has stayed in Albergi Caesari on two separate trips to Rome, once both before and after a cruise. She liked it. Not sure if there is a true 5 star that close to Navona, so you may have to balance proximity and stars. Mom was able to walk there easily, so any able bodied person can grab a tartuffo with minimal effort. Probably 4 stars in the US, but ratings are strict.
