Although its dated in parts but overall its good. I stayed at Four Seasons Las Vegas with my family last weekend. As always with Four Seasons, I had a wonderful time and really have no complain about anything. The service, staff, food, room, and pool were all fantastic.

Four Seasons Las Vegas Trip Report
Question to people who just stayed at FS LV. At our last stay Sept11, we were told that there will be a full renovation January of 2012. Any news regarding that? We have stayed at this hotel over 10 separate weekends and still think its best in Vegas.

I've been to FS and while their attitude is great, the rooms and common areas are totally lacking. Mandarin sets the new bar VERY high. High enough that I don't think even Mr. Wynn could achieve their level of service in relation to the number of guests.

Thanks for the review. While FS LV is on the low end of the FS chain, it is *much* preferable to the MO and the associated train wreck called City Center. FS is my choice when I'm forced to be in Vegas. I would add that Gallivanter reviewed both the MO and FS in the recent April'12 issue and found the MO to be vastly better. I couldn't disagree more and found the Gallivanter review to be dishonest to the point of being sleazy and unethical. I don't know what Lyn and Dave are thinking here, but FS cannot and should not be reviewed without considering the hotel in the greater context of Mandalay Bay. And MO cannot be review without considering the greater context of City Center. They did neither, coming to sloppy, misleading, and incorrect conclusions. A sorry effort on their part and just wrong.

I stayed there in April and I thought the room decor had been freshened somewhat -- but I really had to concentrate on it to arrive at that conclusion. There was nothing revolutionary though - and nothing new in the bathroom. The public areas have not yet been renovated.

I actually think FS has best of both worlds. It is connected to Mandalay which gives such easy option for those who like to gamble or enjoy a casino atmosphere, not to mention the amazing pools in Mandalay. On the other hand, FS's facilities, which are only for FS paid guests, are so calm and family friendly as well as luxurious with very personable and flawless service. Having said that, we will probably try MO soon.

I must say that given my experience at the MO LV, I'm baffled why it is getting such good marks here. I can't imagine returning.
One point: there is no such thing as 'good' in Vegas. The correct phrase is 'sucks the least'.
