damaxter91 I was onsite in Feb and again at end of March for the opening party with the family from Sirenuse Positano who are running the F&B outlets. Still had some work ongoing (pool areas, gardening etc). Many private residences are being worked on still I would think too.

I'd still go to Bal Harbour over Surfside, for now.

In 2017, nearby Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach plans to begin enhancements to its exterior and entrance, lobby and reception, guestrooms, pool terrace and event spaces among other areas, starting in April, spokeswoman Laurie Herrick said. Plans call for temporarily closing the resort about mid-June and reopening in early September, with all upgrades expected to be complete later in the fall

moving the lobby bar, adding a show kitchen in the dining room, shrinking the guest lounge to accommodate a new retail shop and replacing awnings with a permanent roof at the open-air terrace dining area. Other changes include enlarging the existing swimming pool and adding a smaller pool.

Anyone have experience with Palo Alto Silicon Valley? I did a search of this tread and didn't find anything. I have a stay in June that I got for $35/night through Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. Debating if it is worth a flight from Seattle to try out the property for a night or if I should cancel.

I mean, that's a great rate ... if you need to be there.

It's more of a business hotel - or, if you need to be by Stanford.

The FS Toronto was the worst stay I've had at a FS to date. On the other hand, Jaden Smith seems to be a bit of a crazy person.

It's one of the hotels I refer to as a "Four Seasons Lite." Certainly a decent place to stay but definitely not worth a trip, especially given you would be flying there just to try it out.

You would need to rent a car because there is nothing at all within walking distance.

Are there any proper suites at the FS Surf Club? Website doesn't show anything that resembles one.
