Everything is still bookable up as of 04JUL09. Such claim is falsehood.

FA/CD/YB is showing available but sometimes it doesn't mean anything at all. The only time to worry should be only FCY inventory available.

Ah, I see. I thought LH didn't have need to be discontinuation this route. I'm sure this route will be very successful for FRA-PDX to becoming year-round.

The PDX-FRA flight IS year-round -- apparently the poster is unaware of that fact. It is amazing the falsehoods that are perpetuated on these sites. I, for one, am booking LH business class from PDX to FRA onward to CAI in October for 3 passengers. At $7k apiece, it isn't inexpensive, but it is certainly worth the convenience - my vacation isn't that long!!!!

Well, you're going to be re-routed.

The flight ends September 13th, and a memo has already been circulated internally to Lufthansa employees.

Don't take things from a.net seriously unless MAH4546 posts them.

Interestingly enough is that LH sells only B-fares for Economy through their own website while other (Amadeus-based) TAs sell H-fares for the same dates. No idea what's behind this...

I'm very sad to see this flight go; I've taken it several times in the past few years. I even asked the gate agent when I last took it (May 27) about the rumors that it was going to be cancelled and she responded that they just were notified that they were on through the fall.
