I will be arriving MUC Jul. 6th with my wife and another couple on UA in Business Class from IAD at 7:50 AM, connecting on LH economy to NAP at 9:30 AM. As *G I can bring 1 guest to LH Senator Lounge.
I don't believe arriving UA Business Class passengers can use LH Lounge for connecting flights, right?

If you have the time I suggest a quick ride on the PTS to visit to the new T2 Satellite where there are some food outlets and seating behind in the central area. If you arrive at an H gate go through passport control to G and follow the signs for K gates.
I posted photos in another thread but don't seem to be able to find them, so here they are again.

You are correct. LH lounges (other than the Welcome Lounge in FRA and First Class Lounges) are departure lounges. *G may bring one guest to the Senator Lounge even when departing in Economy but arriving Business passengers cannot access a lounge if connecting to a flight in Economy.

MUC FCL T2 & T2 Satellite
My YUL friend is flying into MUC on LH via YUL>MUC>FRA on a same day connection in F & C for first time ever. He has 2 hour connection, so does he have enough time to visit both FCL's or should he stick to the Satellite one? He really wants to planespot from the viewing deck for a while, and collect his duck.@:-)
TIA

The viewing deck is landside and is not that great for planespotting. He might get nicer views from the T2S FCL.

Great experience (not a big news by itself) at the LH FCL in the new Satellite Terminal, but curious why I had to turn in my passport for the duration of the stay.
Was this Passport Control for Germany? That didn't make sense as I was connecting from Stockholm to SFO (US passport, if that makes any difference).
Cheers.

Got it, thanks!
I flew UA on the way out, the difference couldn't be more stark ... but I digress

You were connecting Schengen-Non Schengen in MUC, and the exit of Schengen area happened in the FCL itself. This is standard procedure, and worked the same with the FCL in the main terminal (ie, the FCL can be used to transfer between Schengen and Non-Schengen areas within the airport, and passport control does happen there in the process)

Short Connection in MUC, From USA to LHR via MUC, is 45 minutes enough time.
Ill be traveling in Business From JFK to MUC and MUC to LHR but my connection in MUC is only 45 minutes, as far as I know I have to go trought customs and then do security again, please help.

No, you don't have to go through passport control (I guess that's what you mean by "customs") or security for this connection. As long as your flight from JFK isn't late you'll be fine. If you are on one ticket and miss your connection they'll put you on the next available flight to LHR.
