It says on LH website the Schengen Senator lounge in departures G MUC has relaxing rooms. Is this what they are referring to?

Short conection muc.
I have a OSL-MUC-ADB booked 19.december.The conection is only 45 mins, which I think I might not make from Schengen to non Schengen. There are no more flights this day and my ticket is a UA award.
Will LH give me a hotel in MUC if I do not make it,there is a LH direct flight next morning,I have gotten this before, but on LH revenue ticket,I actually would not mind a pre Xmas day in MUC When I got this before,I was SEN with LH and got a nice place, would that also aply to TK E+ and UA 1K ?
BTW : I booked this a long time ago,and a schedule change has made the layower even shorter than when I made the booking,I would supose that UA would not schedule an "illegal" conection.
Thanks.

General rule is that MUC is good (albeit not perfect) with tight connections, so unless your incoming plane is more than 20min late, you'll be perfectly fine.
Now, should the plane be really late, and you're missing the connection, and the next possible flight to your final destination is next day, then yes, LH has the duty of care to pay for hotel/food etc. according to EU261. Depending on the reason of the delay, you might also be able to claim EU261 compensation (on top of Hotel/food)
Regarding the hotel, I would be prepared to complain if they offer you something "low". In FRA, for example, LH likes to put *G (non-SEN) into the Intercity hotel, a run down place not really worth 2*.. but I've heard enough reports that if you're insisting on a better place (and not everything booked out) you get into more decent properties.

Just thought I'd run this by you guys just in case...
Parents flying in from SIN to MUC on SQ, then continuing from MUC to WAW on LH. Arriving at 5:35 with subsequent flight at 6:50, so 1:15 between them. Both flights are in C so hopefully first off in MUC.
Should I book those flights or is this a big no-no? The next flight from MUC would be at 9:50 (4:15 wait) which would sooner have me looking at different city pairs...

Hi,
I already tried to read a few of the 79 pages out there but I didn't find the answer I am looking for.
I am connecting in Munich on a Qatar Airways emitted ticket.
The itinerary is as followed:
LH2321 LUX-MUC - 12.50-13.55
QR058 MUC-DOH - 14.55-22.20
QR1369 DOH-CPT - 01.50-10.15
The fact is that I only have one hour connection time, flight LH2321 will arrive on a bus position in T2 and then I am leaving from B gates on T1.
Do you think the connection is doable (bags will be checked through).
If I don't make the connection, who would be responsible for the rebooking since it's a QR emitted ticket but the first leg is on LH?
Thank you for your help!

Given your statement, the whole thing will be on one ticket?!
If so, you can definitely book that. Sure you won't have much time, but it should be doable. In MUC, QR will be responsible for rebooking you in case you miss the flight.
As with all short connections, only book it if there isn't going to be any problem if you reach CPT later..

Yes, it's all on one ticket. Since QR is not operating from Luxembourg, they book you on other flights to LHR, MUC, FRA, CDG or MPE. In my case the flight was toward Munich.
Of course I can arrive on CPT later but I have also noticed there is a direct flight from Munich on the same day with LH so I hope QR could rebook us on the direct flight in case of lost connection.

Apologies if this in the wrong place...........
Thinking of flying LHR-MUC-DOH (LHR-MUC with BA and MUC-DOH with QR) on separate tickets. I believe both airlines use Module B at Terminal 1.
Is it a relatively straightforward connection process at MUC as it is the same Terminal/Module?
Do you have to clear customs/immigration?
What is the MCT between BA/QR?
Will be travelling with hand baggage only if that's of any relevance
Many thanks

What if I'm arriving on a LH flight and connecting to a non-LH but Star Alliance flight also operating out of T2? Will either carrier get me a direct transfer to my connecting flight if my LH flight arrives late? Also, if the connection time is 45-50 minutes, will my bags make the connection?

Which QR flight will you take? QR060 is leaving from T1/B and QR058 is leaving from T1/C. Nevertheless it will be a very smooth connection for you.
Just remember to check in online for your QR flight and head to the QR boarding gate and talk to an agent - they will print out new (paper) boarding cards for you and verify your identity etc.
Have a nice trip

Normal ops and your bags will make a 45 min connex. No problem at all.
