A while ago Lufthansa Group CEO Carsten Spohr was sitting across the aisle from me on a flight from FRA-MUC.
And on a flight from LAX to MUC some German actor was sitting a row in front of me. He left his passport when we left the plane in Munich to which the stewardess replied: "No worries, I don't mind keeping it" lol

Last year, 08MAY16, on LH1349, WAW-FRA, I saw two german celebs:
- Roland Koch, former MP of Hessen and 53rd President of the Bundesrat. He's a SEN or a HON and was sitting in an exit row seat.
- Christian Wullf's (former Bundespräsident) wife and kid, were sitting just in front of us, in 5A. He waited at the gate and welcomed them, walked just in front of us.

On Swiss flight from Miami to Zurich LX65 from last night July 26th:
Phil Collins was sitting on 1A and kids and a tall blond Lady on the rest of the row....

Really OT for this thread, but years ago I met Telly Savalas (who played TV detective Kojak) while he was waiting for someone coming off a flight in old terminal 1 at Heathrow. And I occasionally run into current star opera singers on my flights. But I tend not to mention it here, thinking it is not important enough.

I had the same run in with him yesterday (before I got on LH2047). Although his term will be over in less than two weeks he is still attending to business in Berlin.
