Did he try to persuade you to have yourself stuffed as one of his exhibits ?
He was also interested in "Bruno, der Problembär" and wanted to have him stuffed. OT: Does Bruno count as a celebrity and was he ever seen on LH flights ?
For the benefit of those who understand German and know who Mr Stoiber is:

I'm a minor celebrity, and I'm flying LH tonight. Anyone want to sit next to me?
---
But apart from me, I've only noticed one celebrity on LH. Someone asked him for an autograph, but unfortunately I had no idea who it was.

Former Wisconsin Governor and then Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, from Frankfurt to Berlin. He was on his way to some conference and was surprisingly friendly. I recognized him and he introduced himself as "Tommy" and shook my hand. Other than that he didn't tell me who he was. He initiated the conversation, wanting to know what I did, what I was going to Berlin for, etc.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hagman, LAX-FRA going to a book signing in Cologne, a couple of years ago. No, he did NOT booze on the flight....
