Hey FTs - can anyone help me select a business seat on the LH 346 three class? Doing the EWR-FRA route in November and I can't seem to find specific information about what seats might have the most length (due to bulkhead or positioning in cabin).
I'm 6'4" so any extra leg room is always appreciated and I've found individual seats on different aircraft can vary based on where they are.
Any recommendations? This seemed like the only thread discussing LH seating. The rows go 3 - 7 and then 10 - 15.

Just wanted to do a quick follow-up post now that we've taken our trips:
As a reminder, we had a party of 3 traveling DEN>FRA on the 744 and a party of 4 on the return. When deciding on seats we went with row 84 (bulkhead, mid, upstairs) on the way out and row 1 on the way back. After experiencing both, in our opinion we all preferred the upstairs in row 84 for a number of reasons - while being in row 1 was good (very little foot traffic, novelty of the curve) it felt much less spacious, had less storage options available, and generally just felt busier in the nose. Upstairs felt more spacious, was quieter, and the storage options were much better. Biggest downside to upstairs was having only one lav but it was never really an issue.
In both directions service was great but food was meh....
Anyway, just my$0.02

LH 330 Y question
Hi, i tried to look in the very long thread but it seems flying in Y with a330 is not a popular question!
I am Senator. I have choice between row 27k (first row of Y) or 30K (emergency exit).
LH mentions that 27K has extra legroom while Seatguru mentions limited legroom.
What would be your choice?
Thanks

The transition between PE and Y has nicer legroom than the EExit row 30. Also note that people wait for their turn in the lav in front of row 30 which is pretty annoying.

I have booked a flight with Austrian JMK-VIE-LUX. The JMK-VIE leg is operated by a Fokker 100. I reserved seats on the Austrian My Holiday Seat Reservation Tool however it shows row 1 - 3 as only 4 seats which according to the seat map is incorrect. The Fokker 100 shows a 2+3 seat maps from row 1-22. Is the E (middle seat) seat in rows 1-3 blocked even on the holiday flights?

The OS F100 is limited to 100 pax due to crew restrictions (2 FAs for 100pax) but has 21 rows of 5 seats each:

Hence some middle seats are blocked off to stay at 100 seats.

I'm on the DEN-MUC-DEN 330-300 that has Business and Economy, but I don't see any F on the plane? I don't see the config that my seating chart online with my reservation shows in either Seat Guru or LH.com seatmaps?
Aisles 1-11 are Business? I can't see the rest of the plane.
Just thought it odd I didn't see my config. Is this a new one?

Thanks. Funny that the new seating isn't posted anywhere? Just get nervous when the seating chart isn't there. I guess it isn't a new C seat? Was on a 340 that was 2-2-2 last year.

Its the 'new' seat installed fleetwide in 2012-14. Still 2-2-2. LH only has one business class seat. (Except the lone 737 that does FRA-PNQ)

I'm on LH415 (IAD-MUC) in about a month's time in C on an A340-600 and on an A330-300 for the return a few days later. Both show 1-2-1 seating for the first two rows of C. There is no F on these flights; so do these rows still have F seating that will be converted to standard 2-2-2 C seating later this year?

The A330 with no F conversion is happening two aircraft at a time taking 3-4 weeks each. So there will be A330 with F seating sold as C for a few months to come. The A346 subbing in for A330 will probably not use the front cabin.

Thanks, Oliver. Well, I actually hold a reservation with two seats in row 1 for the outbound flight on the A340. For the return, on the A330, the first two rows are not available -- whether blocked or taken, I do not know.
