CDG Departure / Arrival Qs
First time in/out of CDG on LH
(1) How early should one arrive for a 0625h flight? (Business, checked luggage) Also, what time does the LH lounge open?
(2) How long should one expect for arrival formalities? (1710h Schengen arrival, business, checked luggage) I need to estimate a time for Le Cab pickup.
Mahalo!

Arrving in Paris for 17:10 then you can be waiting for your cab about 20-45 mins later. Luggage is always a but hit and miss, sometimes it is OK and takes just 5 mins, sometimes you wait 20 mins. Its about a 5-10 min walk from the gate.

I assume you will be on LH1053 CDG-FRA?
Check-in deadline for business class in 30 minutes before the flight. At this time of the day, I would not expect any significant queues neither for check-in nor for security. With a business class ticket, you can use fast track for security.
I would say, 45 minutes before departure should be enough; maybe a little more slack if you are there for the first time.
Lounge opens at 5:15 AM.

Hijacking the thread a bit -- has anyone been through since the contractor took over?
I was very sad to say goodbye to all of the people who have been great over the years, especially the lounge staff. (CDG is my main destination).

Early flight out of CDG?
Wednesday flying on LH2239 out of CDG to MUC (then on to IAH) at 6:40am.
Just pricelined hotel, got Onlysuites where shuttle starts at 5:00am.
My guess is arriving around 5:30am + or -
Should I take shuttle or get taxi to arrive in timely manner?
Have luggage to check in.
Flying Business First (Star Gold status).
Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks, Alpha Golf;
Wife wanted to take hotel taxi (30 Euro).
Took your advice and still had 20+ minutes to spend in lounge prior to boarding.
Gold line bus picked us up at 5:11am from OnlySuites, dropped us off at T-1 around 5:30am. and breezed through baggage, check-in and security without lines.
Now in MUC with over 4 1/2 hour delayed flight.
