Meh. I'd rather the prize be flying with the 777F on it's first RTW cargo trip.

My desire to ride along would depend on the jumpseat options that LH chose. The space for jumpseat pax looks like it is pretty small--behind cockpit is a lav, galley, and rest, then (maybe) 2m-2.5m to just behind doors 1L/R where there is a bulkhead that separates the cargo area...

Yep, the seats behind the cockpit are not a place to spend 10 hours listening to creaking cargo pallets! Kind of a hybrid economy/biz seat And you have to prepare your own grub!!

I submitted "Weiss Frau", according to Germany myth and fairy tales they were elve-like spirits that would protect treasures. Figure its a metaphor for LH caring for cargo when it transports. I'll know if it works out if Im in FRA in October.....actually either way I'll be there for the event.

I've been on board the MD-11 and I would certainly not say no to a jump seat! asking for caviar service and the American breakfast though might be a bit embarassing.. I agree on the 777F. MD-11 hands down!

LH Cargo has a very nice series on their fb page about the MD11s flying all over from the pilots perspective... they usuall fly from one god forsaken place to another. Being a freight dog is no fun.
