Does OS have any plans to update their long haul cabins?

I'm aware of their Europe Seat and new sleek cabin interiors (thank god the god awful green is going!) but I haven't seen anything related to a much needed update to the long haul business class as well as the long haul sardine seats.

Anyone here know more than I do?

A) OS ran out of money
B) Why does OS need long hauls ex Vienna ?

Me thinks that we will see shortly a much leaner smaller and sleeker Austrian airline with a homogenuous Airbus fleet.

True OS is strapped for cash but they do need the long haul flights. JFK, IAD, YYZ, DXB, DEL, MLE, and NRT all make money for them, I'm fairly certain they could cut MLE and maybe even BKK but defiantly the rest make money.

Any source regarding the supposed October refurbishment?

And apologies, it was November, not October, they mentioned.

Good. As long as they keep VIE/BKK and VIE/PEK I will still be using OS on a regular basis.

Considering the go-ahead for the investment and the vendor was made in November 2010, its well overdue
