"First route" will be Seattle-Frankfurt on december 6th. Future D-ABYE will do three days of ground tests at Rhein-Main with LH.

Hello all,
My Wife to be and I are going on our honeymoon at the end of May. We will be flying LH from BOS to FRA in Business Class and was wondering what the chances are that we will be flying on one of the new 747-8 planes?.

The delivery of the first aircraft due this month is not happening (this month 
), so even if its delivered in April its not going in service instantly but goes for installations and flight training first, which will take 6+ weeks. So definitely no 748i scheduled service in May 2012.

First North American destination for the LH 748 is strongly rumoured to be IAD. LH 418/419
