Can anyone help with an update on the FRA-BOG route? Currently a340-600 old F old C.

Any idea when it will have new C?
Will it remain an a340-600 or be changed next year?
Will it retain F? If yes when will it get new F?

hoping it gets the new C/F sooner rather than later... taking this flight quite a bit this and next year.
thanks!

Currently all retrofitted 346 are stationed in MUC. The last 6 which are in FRA will get retrofitted in March-July 2015. If the route switches to A343 or 330 you will be better off, the A330 will be all done by January, the 343 by February.

Thanks! I was kind of wondering what they will do because the flight is always full in C and Y. In F pretty much empty always. If the add Premium eco then and move to smaller aircraft it will definitely drive prices up... intended effect perhaps although the current prices are not bargains on that route. Alternatively they could ditch F to create more space for more premium and biz. some Airbus aircraft from FRA should become two class so was wondering it that was one of them. Anyhow lets wait and see. thanks

Another 747-8i has recently been delivered, D-ABYQ. Also already featuring new premium economy class.

Would you happen to know what route it flies? I'm flying IAH->FRA.

Quite so....I just flew on the A380 from IAH to FRA and it had the old business class seats. However, the day before, the IAH to FRA flight featured the new business class seats.

Deciding between LH405 (747) from JFK to FRA on Friday December 19th or LH403 (747 also) from EWR to FRA for Business Class.

Any way to know which flight will have the updated C product? Thanks!

I haven't been able to find any new C reviews other than on the B748i.

For my latest booking, I am looking at an almost completely open C cabin, new C on 2-class A343. Which seat would you choose for a single traveller? Window or aisle? Bulkhead row 1 or 10 or no bulkhead? Middle pair "V" config or window "H" config?

Any experience anyone?

Regardless of old or new C cabin I'd choose an aisle seat in the centre, i.e. D or G. You don't have to bother anybody when you want to get out of the seat and nobody will bother you.
Personally I don't like to sit in front of a wall for 10 hours or so, so my vote is for no bulkhead, but somewhere in the front third, maybe row 3.

Flew LH 438 FRA-DFW in business on the two class A343 featuring the new C seat this past Saturday. I always choose a window seat if possible and I did so on this trip: 2K. Very comfortable and I had no problem getting out of or back into my seat with regard to the passenger seated in 2H. BTW, the service on board this flight was excellent.....

Flew SFO-FRA in J on a A380 a couple weeks ago. 180 flat seat was very comfortable. The video screen is adjustable to various angles. Pretty good product and felt very spacious. The only thing is my stuff kept on falling behind the seat!
