Does your quote mean I will highly risk being "downgraded" to a business cabin? I also wonder how Lufthansa would compensate such situation if that happened.
Which route are you looking at?

I noticed that there are still Seat + Bed 747s going to DEN and BOS. Is there a reason they are showing no F inventory while SEA is still show F class inventory?

As of the summer schedule DEN is now 2 class service regardless of the plane. SEA is still 3 class service but only until August 6th when it too joins the LH 2nd or 3rd of tier garbage service routes that now includes DEN, YVR, YYZ, DFW, DTW among others.

Out of curiosity what is the significance of the route FRA-BGR?

Customs clearance takes place in BGR. The 1991 vintage 744 is still worth ~20 million in terms of spare parts.

Noticed BOS no longer shows F inventory. So beyond 06 AUG 2015 no North American destination will offer F inventory on a 744 w/ Seat + Bed?

Indeed. I noticed a few days ago the 346 scheduled to be on PHL was swapped out for a 744. Scooped up an award seat two weeks from now.

Thank you, that is really interesting - I see that it then flew BGR-TUL this morning.

Bye bye D-ABVH... it's a sad day. She was the SMD2 party plane.

I'm looking at booking a First Class seat YYZ-MUC mid October. Looks like LH flys the A330 out of YYZ. Has this plane and route had its First Class product upgraded already? I read that some are not until mid 2016.

It will be new First. Per post #1 of this thread, there is no LH aircraft in service with the old First Class cabin.

Much appreciated your help. I must have missed that on the A330. I'm considering of flying out of EWR to get on the A380. Not a real fan of those A330

You need to fly out of JFK to get the A380. IAH/MIA/LAX/SFO are also other choices but involve a huge backtrack.
