But (and here I'm guessing) the aurora borealis is found truly awesome by all age groups: plastic ducks are generally awesome only to 5-year olds. And under.

But you're right, I'm being grumpy and intolerant

Even though nobody asked: seems to be FRA only - they don't have them at MUC T2S

If there will be Oktoberfest duck,is it exclusively in MUC or in FRA too?
Does anyone know what special edition ducks should be expected until the end of the year? Olympics in August,Oktoberfest in September-October and Christmas in December?

My boys had no appreciation for the FCL/T ducks at that age. At all.

We can only hope that with age, and the accumulation of wisdom, they will learn to appreciate the allure of ...

...plastic ducks

2016/06/22 update

In the FCT as we speak and enjoying myself fully.

The new soccer/football duckies are available in both the FCL A and the FCT.

Also got a hold of the all-silver "standard" ducky in the FCT upon asking.

Am being told the "spa" duckies are still available in FCL B but did not make it over there to check.

Excited to report I received mine the other morning at the FRA FCT.

A perfect addition for my Easter ducks.

At the FCT today 8/27 they are claiming all out of the "olympics" duck and only giving out the standard silver, however was able to score the olympics duck (only on specific request) from the terminal A FCL.

Still have not made it over to the terminal B FCL to check on the rumor that they still have some of the "spa" ducks remaining.

I saw that one in the FCT display case and wanted it immediately...in hindsight, maybe I should have asked about it.

Not sure if this is new or not -- but last week, instead of going to the spa attendant to request, my PA asked me when she checked me in if I collect ducks, and then brought it to me with my BP. White winter one with scarf and earmuffs.
