According to LOT's Press Release of Jan. 15, "LOT Polish Airlines is now a full participant in the American Airlines AAdvantage Frequent Flyer Program. Passengers may earn miles on American Airlines while flying on LOT Polish Airlines." http://www.lot.com/news/newsHtml/0116140609.html
Nope, unfortunately it does not. The only thing it means is that now you don't have to fly on a AA ticket on a LOT/AA codeshare to earn your AAdvantage miles. According to the press release, all LOT flights would earn you AAdvantage miles, although no Q-miles. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Bad news... As RDURES1 reported ( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum71/HTML/002348.html ), "the whole thing has been postponed to a yet to be announced date". Also, that Press Release (see above) disappeared from LOT's web site. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I'm flying on Lot today via a BA Codeshare and I called AA to see if I would get miles. The AA person said that Lot was going to become a partner, but as of today they were not. So I guess I'll put the miles on my Qualiflyer account.
LOT is now an official AAdvantage participant (at least, according to the AA's web site).
