The Polka and other dances were the AEROBICS of the working class and others! WHen I was growing up in Michigan, I had great leg muscles from doing the DOUBLE STEP POLKAS, as well as all the other dances.
My fingers were in good shape also from playing the tunes on the accordion.
Wish I could have grown up with a computer!
