Peninsula Hotel...

4 Seasons LA (not beverly wilshire, they arent offering a deal other than suites)

Beverly Hills Hotel, found deal there for $395 a night...

If you were choosing, where? Why?


and I could save a lot of money and stay at SLS or W Westwood...any experiences there?

It really depends on what you want. I have no idea how much it costs, but the Chateau Marmont is a very cool hotel kind of hidden on Sunset Blvd. The W is going to be more of a club scene than some of the other ones you mentioned. If you are going to stay at the W I would stay at the one in Hollywood. There is also a very neat hotel called The Standard around that same area. It really doesn't matter that much where you stay if you are doing the tourist thing because you will need a car wherever you are (LA is too spread out to see without a car).

The SLS is a very nice hotel too. If you have a chance and enjoy meat, I recommend going to Fogo De Chao (sp?) for lunch-it's a very short walk from the SLS hotel and is a great experience. (It's a Brazilian Churrascaria)

So yes, i did a search first...if i type in peninsula hotel, same result,either i dont know how to use the search function, entirely possible, or, well, obviously i dont since i never seem to be able to find what i want

It appears you did a general search of all of Flyertalk. You need to go to the Luxury Hotels forum as directed by the link you were provided and then do your search of that forum. You can also do the search by going to the search link at the top of the page but then you have to select advanced search and select the particular forum you want to search.

Hello there! I am new to this forum. I have been reading about bad reviews about The Montage. Can you provide a link for that Andrew Harper review? I am travelling for Chritmas with my husband and two teen age sons to Los Angeles and would like to know which hotel would you recomend in Beverly Hills...I already have reservations for Montage BH as well as Beverly Wilshire, which one should I choose??? Please Help!
