GlobalPass.com Gone?

I just tried to check my account using my bookmarks and the web couldn't find globalpass.com. I tried Google search and came up with the same answer "globalpass.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again".

Doesn't look good for our awards!!

Still There, But Announcement of "A New Era" Changed

I just checked the Global Pass announcement about "A New Era", and all of the information regarding the ability to make reservations with TACA by June 30th has been removed. I simply talks about what happens after July 1, 2005 and makes no reference to any ability to convert mileage to Global Awards prior to that.

This isn't particularly alarming, I guess, given that the June 30th date has since passed. I called GP this afternoon and was unable to get anything out of them other than they were trying as hard as they can to get tickets issued, and that I should regularly check my "statement" to see if I have received them.

Logging in on my home computer and was able to log-in. I was working on my work laptop and had been on globalpass.com earlier. I thought it might be my Firefox browser causing the problem so I switched to Internet Explorer and AOL and still could not find the site. Oh well, it's good to know that we still have hope to get tickets.

Problems

I cannot access Globapass.com either. I have tried 3 puters and am on a T line. No success, been trying for 1/2 an hour. YIKES :(
They may be having an overload, too many hits? Who knows?
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

The HQ website http://www.avgroupllc.com/ doesn't work either

Lets hope they took the site down because of the problems they are having distributing emails and credit card information to unauthorized users. If Avgroup is hosted on same server this would account for it being down also.

? Both sites down or gone?

Me thinks we could be in for a rough ride? :(
(On second thought "the bus broke down" in the middle of no-where)

If anyone can access either site before Monday, please post.

Their phone is STILL on, and taking messages. A good thing :)
