LANPASS Black elite qualification question

I’m trying to determine if elite status with LAN is a good idea. I’ll be flying a DONE4 (business class round the world ticket) next year and there are 5 segments on LAN & TAM.
I have a question about the qualification for LAN BLACK (OWE) using the 80K kms + 8 segments in premium method. Currently, I have JNB-GRU-SCL-IPC-SCL-BOG scheduled. I would only need 3 more segments in premium to meet the 8 segment rule. Do codeshares on AA count for this requirement? E.G. LIM-MIA-BWI where MIA-BWI is a LAN codeshare on AA. MIA-BWI would be in A class, but only 1500kms. Do the kms earned flying on the 8 premium segments reduce the 80K km requirement?
Thanks…

The 8 premium segments are highlighted on the Latam website as "Valid in Premium Economy or Premium Business in Lan or Tam of over 1,600kms", so it sounds like it is meaning Latam metal, BUT, the first year I qualified for Comodoro under the same rule I had two J class SCL-SYD return trips on Qantas metal with Lan tickets & they counted, so I think that codeshares do count(at least they did for me!)

"Do the kms earned flying on the 8 premium segments reduce the 80K km requirement?"
You need 80K PLUS the 8 premium segments. The kms earned during those segments count towards the 80K. In your case, you should get almost 33K from the Latam segments you highlighted (flown distance 21,850km + 50% cabin bonus).

The problems I see for you are:
1) You will be well short of the 60K Latam miles required for the 120K qualification, so you can't really go that option
2) Do you often fly Latam? The biggest benefit of Latam Black is the unlimited upgrades on Latam flights. If you're US based, that won't be much help(although Latam Black get access to AA Premium Lounges that AA EXP don't). Utilizing AA miles is much easier than LatamPass kms!

My intent was to add 3 prem econ flights, gru-eze which are just over 1600 kms to meet the 8 segment requirement. That's about 38K kms on LAN/TAM, so I only need an additional 42K kms on oneworld partners as I understand it.
I have plans to visit S America in 2017 and 2018 so I thought that having LAN black would be more useful than BA gold, both OWE.

Regarding LANPASS kms, LAN still has the mileage based award that uses 2 or more OW airlines other than LAN. That can be useful when flying around Asia.

GRU-SCL is often cheaper than GRU-EZE, I guess simply due to the volume of flights Latam do to SCL, so you might want to check both.
