caesars forum tower penthouse - sleeps 14+

hat tip to MikeE

6BR (sleeps 14)
2 den (sleeps 4 maybe?)

pre-renovation on google maps >

kind of odd they took out the large pools. but 22K ft2 makes it the largest suite in the world. AFAIK there is only one condo planned to be the same size.

What do you think my chances of using the $20 trick to get upgraded to that would be?

4BR sleeps 12

i guess if the dens dont have sofabeds, it doesnt really sleep more people than some of the 4BRs, like at mansion and hilton.

MikeE you are awesome.

Kage, thanks for spreading the love . I love the power of Google maps...being able to open it up and point to a place on the map and say, "Here's where my suite is: -->".

Google Earth seems to get updated information much more frequently than Maps, and they have a cool "time lapse" feature so the other day I was watching Wynn get built, then Encore, etc. Haven't checked Palazzo for visibility of suites but they definitely have images since it was built.

Obama slept here...

Appears you need to be a million dollar high roller to stay there, of course there are exceptions.

http://www.lvrj.com/news/46453782.html

President Obama was just in Vegas this past week for a fundraiser for Harry Reid at the Coluseum at Caesars Palace. Seems like he got a major upgrade while at Caesar's. Las Vegas Review Journal Entertainment Blogger Doug Elfman did a video blog of the suite after the President's stay there, you can view it through the following link and actually see inside the suite.

AFAIK the only things that are not bookable are wynn ground floor fairway and apartment villas.

MikeE, you should ask him if it looked like the den sofas were sofabeds.

interestingly, there is another comment from caesars employee about it not being bookable. seems odd, IIRC caesars was one of the ones i was just reading again recently saying they let people pay rack rates when theyre not occupied by whales/etc.

Speaking of suites at Caesars I will be in LAS in late September and was thinking of giving Caesars a try in one of their suites.

Has anyone stayed in:

Forum Tower Royal Suite ($390 p/n), 1050 sq. ft.
Augustus Tower Royal Suite ($440 p/n), 960 sq. ft.
Palace Tower Senator's Suite ($490 p/n), 1700 sq. ft. View on Garden of Gods
Pool complex

Are there any other perks for booking suites at Caesars? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

BTW, have been to Vegas before and have stayed at Wynn Tower Suites (Salon Suite), FS (Premier Strip View suites), Bellagio (PH LV suite), SkyLofts (1 & 2 BR suites) before.

Thank you again

might also be worth considering >

~ palms place might be best pool until mandarin oriental opens

~ trump is cheap, including 25% off 4 nts+, and top suite might upgrade to penthouse

x bellagio has a lounge for PH and up now, might be new since your trip

x citycenter's vdara is scheduled to open oct 1
