City Center's Aria and Vdara Now Accepting Reservations

Aria projects a 12-19-2009 opening, while Vdara (non-gaming, all-suites, all non-smoking ) is stating a more general '"October 2009" opening date.

Do either of you have a link to the reservation site? I can only find info for holding meetings at Aria. (I didn't sign their guestbook when they sent the email last week; I am assuming that's why they didn't email me again)

Any pricing on the Sky Villas?

Also, looks like all the Sky Suites are looking to become the new Skylofts, but no mention of a butler.

sky suites/villas seem more comparable to encore tower.

re villas, i was told you have to send a request to "director" (sales or casino) to begin negotiations on booking. im sure pricing details will eventually come out.

the "x" above means the rates are not loaded yet. only 2 suites left.

theyve got a lot up, but not full room details.

392 rooms + 227 residences = 619

its too bad it looks like the residences will be the usual long term lease only.

fountainbleau >
opening in ~8 months
taking reservations ~3 months before opening

How are the units at Fountainbleau allocated? Is it a condo-hotel (with most of the units in the rental pool), or a half-hotel, half residences type of arrangement?

Or something else altogether?

3812 rooms including 1018 condohotel units

(no residences, which are typically in higher end properties, like MO)

havent seen breakdown anywhere. called about oasis/vip pool and was told they hadnt decided who gets access yet.

sky suites/villas @ aria was certainly a nice surprise.

More info about the planned dining options at Aria:

(Interesting in that Jean Georges Vonegrichten's steakhouse at the Time Warner Center in NYC failed rather quickly - I assume that he will have learned from that experience):

Could you preserve the old pricing so we could keep track of their limbo game? It's always interesting to see what they originally wanted as compared to what they're asking now.

I wonder if some of the drops are the result of early (pre-opening) bookings for conferences and meetings being cancelled or scaled down?
