CET Properties to Charge a Resort Fee Starting 3/1/2013
Beginning March 1, new bookings will have a resort fee at ALL Caesars Entertainment properties in Las Vegas.
The daily resort fees by property are:
$10 – The Quad
$15 – Bally’s
$18 – Flamingo, Harrah’s and Rio
$20 – Paris and Planet Hollywood
$25 – Caesars Palace
Resort Fees at Caesars Palace covers:
1. Fitness center access for 2 people per day
2. Daily in-room internet access for one device
3. All local phone calls
The daily resort fees by property are:

So it seems the more upscale the hotel is, the worse deal they have made with the phone and internet providers - as the very same product costs more there.

Bad news indeed - would prefer to see a trend towards other properties axing their fees instead - and set their room unit pricing to appropriate levels. Just mirrors the airlines practice of the ridiculous 'fuel surcharges' - it's all about ancilliary revenue these days...

This is awful news. I don't like being forced to pay fees and I never use any of the included items that they are charging the fees for.
