Earning kms on non-OW airlines, booked as JJ/LA flights
Received wisdom has it that it is the marketed carrier that matters for km earnings on LANPass, rather than the operating airline. So, if I book a BA/IB/AA flight under an LA or JJ flight number, the number of kms I receive will depend on the LA or JJ accrual chart. However, has anyone earned anything if a flight was marketed by JJ or LA but was operated by a non-OW partner? Specifically I am thinking about flights from GRU to FRA or MUC operated by LH, which can be booked under JJ numbers. Will I earn any kms on them?
I don't know how it works in other OW programs. Star Alliance is a different story, as it is the operating carrier that counts there. For instance, I recall SAS mentioning on their EuroBonus website that no points can be earned on SAS flights between CPH and Moscow if it is a SK flight booked under the Aeroflot number or an Aeroflot flight booked as an SK flight. SK and Aeroflot are not alliance partners but the code-share is required due to international agreements. I suppose something similar may hold for LH/JJ flights between Germany and Brazil.
A related thing: has anyone been able to locate an accrual chart for LAN flights listing booking classes? This page http://www.lan.com/en_us/sitio_perso...lan/index.html lists fare groups but it is not helpful if a routing containing a LAN flight is not governed by LAN fare regulations and is not ticketed by LAN.
