Tam 767-300

Hi,

Anyone knows if TAM still uses any of the old 767-300 inherited from Alitalia? Or all of them are the relatively new ones transfered from LAN?

I am flying MAD-GRU soon on Business Class and would really prefer the ex-LAN planes with the true flat bed seats (as opposed to the ex-AZ old crappy seats).

Thanks!

TAM phased out the old AZ 767s last year. TAM currently operates 12 new 767-300ERs that were transferred over from LAN.

Does that mean that the TAM 767-300 have lie-flat seats in Business Class?

Given a choice between TAM 763 and AA 763 or AA old 772 - which one to choose for a flight in Business Class?

Yep. TAM's new 767s all feature the new Premium Business Class with lie-flat seats that were introduced on LAN's 787s.

Related questions.... I see from the above that all of the 767's currently operated by TAM are the "newer" versions. Do these birds include some sort of modern IFE system in the Economy Cabin..? Im taking the family to MIA and will be flying EZE-GRU-MIA in about 1 week and want to know if I have to bring along our IPads... would much rather they use the IFE provided its somewhat new and has at least some sort of gaming capabilities...?

Any details/tips would be appreciated.

Cheers from EZE,
Alex / Gaucho100K

If the ex-LAN planes kept the IFE, it is one of the best systems in the skies, and available in every seat.

Here's the July magazine. http://www.lan.com/upload/pdf/ip-julio.pdf
Can someone confirm that the TAM planes have kept the system?

Sounds promising... thanks for posting.

If someone could confirm if the ex-LAN planes now serving under TAM still have the same IFE this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Sorry I was referring to Gaucho100K. However it looks like JJ8081 will see the 767-316ER on certain dates next February.

So I assume that means angle business class seat as opposed to lie flat?
