Best Y seats on LAN A320's
Hi all,
What are the better rows to be in for economy on the A320. Is there a bulkhead or exit isle?
I'm suprised no one has a guide on the best seats on this plane - I've only found the 767 and A340 seatmaps on seat expert or seat guru.
Regards,
Mark

LAN has a one-cabin configuration on their domestic 320s. Seat pitch is probably ~29". I remember having barely enough room for my knees. All the seats seem the same, so I would just recommend toward the front.

OK I had an exit row on an A320 on one of my flights over Chirstmas.
Having just checked my boarding passes, I think it must have been my PMC PUQ segment. I didn't book it but when I boarded the aeroplane in PMC my seat was covered in jam.
I was booked into 11A and went into the row behind so row 12 is an exit row, my seat didn't recline so let's presume that 13 is also an exit row with reclining seats as having 2 exit rows would be logical on a single class A320.
That's my calculated guess.

I also flew in some brand new A320s which were all in Y and not configurable for premium economy (new lighter blue weight-saver seats with a seat back "pocket" at eye level)ç
Edit to answer the question: Whilst the dark blue seats rows 1-3 have a tad more legroom, the new seats don't
Edit again: PUQ to PMC with OLCI I was able to bag row 1 which was in the old config and did have a bit more legroom

Anyone have any additional a320 seat recommendations. The bulkhead is available - is that worth it or is it super tight? Full Y fare here so it looks like I can get access to it.
What about these new A321's that have arrived. I can't even find a seat map for it. Don't the LAN folks have this posted somewhere?

There are three configurations in LA A320 fleet
168 seats (old blue leather) : IAE-powered A320. Very rare to see an IAE-powered A320 on domestic sector.
174 seats (old blue leather) : CFM-powered A320. Domestic aircraft are not configurable for Premium Economy, this may be distinct lack of power ports in first 4 rows. Always, I travel domestic sectors in first rows (2-3 , I don't like 1st row due impossibility to store my backpack under my seat.) International aircraft operating in domestic routes have power ports but are disabled by the crew.
174 seats NEW configuration (thinner seats , red and grey leather) : More spacious compared than old configuration, so I don't have problems to store my backpack instead old configuration aircraft. Very few aircraft have this configuration, CC-BFT or newer (I don't remember exactly, the last time I traveled onboard BFU, new configuration).

Hi, Am traveling a few internal LATAM Chile / Brasil flights next month. Even though I am OneWorld Sapphire I need to pay to upgrade into emergency exit seats. On the A320s is there much extra legroom in 12A, 11B or 11C seats? Does 12A or 12F have a window?
