ATL to ICN to BKK

ATL to ICN to BKK
I am taking a KE flight with the connections in the title. When I reach ICN
the stop over time is 1 hour and 20 min. before the next flight to BKK. Has
anyone ever had their checked in luggage miss the connecting flight ? I am
a little concerned about the short connection time.

That's well over the minimum connection time at ICN, which is 45 minutes for international-international. Has a bag ever failed to make a connection? Sure. But that's a very safe connection to make, and I expect you'll be fine.

Yes, should be no problem at all. I've done that and similar connections many times without problems for my checked bags.
KE at Incheon is very efficient. This isn't CDG.
