Thumbs up Overnight Layover ICN

Hey guys

Quick Q- I have a ~18 hour layover (over night arrive @5:30PM) in ICN

From what I've been reading I can cheaply transfer to the CALT near some hotels in Seoul - I would love to crash at the Park Hyatt for a night, but since my flight is at 9AM I am concerned this would require a super early departure from the hotel? Has anyone ever done this on here that can let me know what time they departed the CALT for ICN and successfully made the connection?

Flying out OZ J if that helps

Thanks for the insight!

You have to check in at CALT 3 hours AND 10 mins before departure. It seems early, but based on the time that you'd check in IF you took the bus to the airport, it's normal.

The first bus to Incheon leaves CALT at 4:55, so you would meet the criteria no problem.

Be aware that this is the lastest check-in time. A little earlier might be better.

Ouch. Unless you plan to do something the night before that can only be done in downtown Seoul, I'd stay in one of the airport hotels and have dinner/drinks nearby.

The Hyatt is a five minute drive (shuttle) from ICN and has a nice spa/pool, lounge, and a restaurant concept that's something like seven different restaurants within the restaurant so that you can get almost any food and atmosphere you want. There also seems to be a nightclub within the hotel that appeared to be popular when I was there.
