Does KLM charges Euro 50 for exit row seats?

Hello Guys,

I recently noted that Air France charges an extra Euro 50 for exit row seats in long haul flights. Does KLM have the same sort of policy?

Thanks,
Gili

Both AF and KL have the same policy of charging for certain special seats in Economy. A big point to note though is that these fees are waved for Gold and Platinum members.

I have several times had a whole row to myself as a result, since non-elites don't seem willing to pay for the seats (yet). Nice extra perk with you get lucky

As a plat., I tried to book one AF long haul exit seat but was not allowed. They said I could only try my luck at the airport. Is it true?

You can't book it. They only become available when OLCI opens. Then you pay 50 euro, or you can get it for free if plat or gold.
